Sovarre
Overview
Sovarre is the nation originally forged from the ashes of the Ehrengard Empire, established after the Roscarte Coup and ruled with absolute authority by Seraphine du Roscarte. Unlike its predecessor, Sovarre is not built on ideals, tradition, or noble governance—it is a regime of control, obedience, and calculated fear.
The fall of Ehrengard marked the erasure of an empire, with its history rewritten, its rulers exiled or executed, and its laws replaced by the will of House du Roscarte. Sovarre does not recognize emperors, councils, or diplomacy—only complete domination.
Since it's founding, it has been overthrown and forced to retreat from New Terranova, but rumor has it that Sovarre continues to fester in the shadows.
Formation & Governance
- Established: After the Fall of Ehrengard, following the exile of Avery R. Ehrveil.
- Ruler: Seraphine du Roscarte, Sovereign of Sovarre.
- Power Structure: Absolute rule by House du Roscarte, enforced through military strength, financial control, and systematic suppression of opposition.
Core Principles of Sovarre
- The past does not exist. Only the present, and those who rule it.
- Laws are secondary to power. Those who challenge it are erased.
- Weakness invites destruction. Fear ensures loyalty.
- There is no throne, no empire—only Sovarre.
Legacy & Impact
Sovarre is not a kingdom, nor an empire—it is dominion by force. It stands as a testament to House du Roscarte’s ruthless rise, proving that power is not inherited, but seized.
Despite losing control of New Terranova, whispers remain of Sovarre's survival, and with it, the possibility of continued influence at the hand of House du Roscarte.
Trivia
- "Viva la Maison du Roscarte" is the official state motto, symbolizing Sovarre’s new order.
