Lore Catalyst Request

The LCR system allows players—especially Legends with a passion for the canon—to propose major lore events requiring technical assistance or elements beyond the game’s native support (e.g., creating a "Multiversal Extrapolator" to crash together timelines or introducing new mobs for a Sculk Horde invasion).

To submit an LCR, reach out via Direct Message to Divinity or a lore coordinator.

How It Works

  1. Proposal Submission
    Players submit an LCR detailing:
    • Event concept and narrative goals.
    • Required technical support (e.g., custom items, abilities, or scripted mechanics).
  2. Feasibility Review
    Admins review the request for:
    • Enjoyability and engagement.
    • Technical viability within game limitations.
    • Coherence with existing lore.
  3. Canonization & Implementation
Approved LCRs are integrated into the canon as a new timeline, branch, or Prime Epoch, with divine support for implementation.

Specifics

  1. Proposals SHALL
    • Clearly describe the event’s purpose and its intended impact on the lore.
    • Specify technical needs (e.g., custom items, abilities, or scripted mechanics).
  2. Proposals SHOULD
    • Tie into existing lore or justify introducing new elements.
    • Outline how the event fits into the current timeline or propose a new timeline/epoch.
    • Consider game limitations and propose alternatives where necessary.
  3. Proposals MAY
    • Include additional lore elements, such as new or NPC factions, themes, or regions.
    • Provide lore-based explanations for technical constraints or changes (e.g., an unstable portal disrupting the timeline).
